Cork Fabric Scrap Pack- Ribbon 6oz

Assorted Cork Fabric Ribbon Strips. Save money- buy scraps! These scrap ribbon packs include a variety of solids, prints and metallic ribbon strips ranging from approximately 1” - 3” in width. Most strips are approximately 36” in length but some could be shorter or longer.  Strips are random, non-uniform and assorted. PICTURES MAY NOT REFLECT THE ACTUAL PACK YOU WILL RECEIVE. This 6oz pack has approximately 8- 15 strips depending on length and width. Quantities vary to account for weight.

Cork fabric is a sustainable and ecofriendly material made of cork tree bark shavings which are compressed and laminated to a fabric support backing such as polyester or cotton. Once the bark is harvested from the tree it will regrow and the tree renews itself multiple times during its life making this material renewable and environmentally friendly.

Cork fabric has a similar feel and durability to leather which is why is frequently called “cork leather.” It is flexible, hypoallergenic, water resistant, stain resistant and can easily be cut or sewn which makes it perfect for a multitude of uses.
