Cork Fabric Sheet - Focus

Cork Fabric with a woven backing. This fabric can be sewn on a domestic home sewing machine and is great for jewelry, bags, zipper pouches, wallets and anything that you would need or prefer a durable leather like fabric. This fabric is thick enough that you don't need to use stabilizers or interfacings unless you want to.

Cork fabric is a sustainable and ecofriendly material made of cork tree bark shavings which are compressed and laminated/adhered to a fabric support backing. Once the bark is harvested from the tree it will regrow and the tree renews itself multiple times during its life making this material renewable and environmentally friendly. Cork fabric has a similar feel and durability to leather which is why is frequently called “cork leather.” It is flexible, hypoallergenic, waterproof, stain resistant and can easily be cut or sewn which makes it perfect for a multitude of uses.

Thicknesses of cork fabric range from approximately 0.70mm to 1.05mm - please see photos for specific thickness of this particular listing.

All sizes are precut and will not be sold in continuous pieces if multiples of a single item are ordered. For example, if two 8"x10" pieces are ordered, you will receive 2 separate pieces, not one 8" x 20" piece.
